Rachel Sarah XO

Hi guys! This month has been a bit of a struggle so I do apologise for the lack of posts. Well, I've dyed my hair red and it looks pretty cool so that's something positive that happened last month. I've also decided to pluck up the courage to get driving lessons (eek!) so that's pretty scary and man, insurance is so expensive. Dad and I have been looking at a lovely little Peugeot 107, but that's a long way off yet. Need to actually have my first driving lesson, haha!

I've bought such a ridiculous amount of beauty items this month it isn't even funny, a lot of MAC was bought and I have no regrets okay.

So let's get into it shall we?

Hydraluron Moisture Jelly

This has become my new favourite daily moisturiser. It's by the brand, Indeed Labs, they also make a serum that goes hand-in-hand with this. It's a jelly consistency and that rather flat lid is actually a pump which I think is much more hygienic. It feels lovely and cooling, it melts into the skin.

Retails for £24.99 from Boots

Blush Palette in 'All About Pink' by Makeup Revolution and MUA Eyeshadow Palette in 'Elysium'

I've smothered these palettes all over my face nearly everyday.
I do find that the blush palette is a bit too pigmented so you need to use a light hand for sure. The eyeshadow palette is so pigmented and the mattes in this palette are fabulous!

Both retail for £6 and are available from Makeup Revolution and MUA.

MAC Eyeshadow Quad in 'Devilishly Dark'

This is a very very lovely, limited edition eyeshadow quad by MAC, I've had this since last summer and I've only recently rekindled my love for it. It's a lovely everyday palette, I usually use the bottom left shade 'honey lust' on it's own with a little bit of the bottom right shade 'devilishly dark' running through the crease.
It's no longer available to buy anymore. :(

MAC Lipstick in Russian Red

This is a gorgeous blue based red, it's a matte lipstick but goes on really smoothly and it's quite creamy considering. It's very very pigmented, it's a deepish red but nowhere near as deep as Diva by MAC. It retails for £15.50 from MAC Cosmetics.

MAC Eyeshadow in Folie

This is actually my new brow colour, after dying my hair red I decided I couldn't go around with black eyebrows still so I was on the hunt for a very red toned brown. I looked all over Superdrug and Boots and I coudn't find one matte red toned brown eyeshadow (what's all that about?!) so I heard a lot about this eyeshadow and when I saw swatches I knew it would be the perfect brow colour, and it is! It retails for £10 in pan form or £13 in full packaging from MAC Cosmetics.

Limited Edition Kelly Osbourne MAC Lipstick in Dodgy Girl

I managed to hunt this lovely lipstick down on Depop, I managed to get it for £15 including postage, I'm kind of obsessed with Kelly Osbourne and I was gutted I missed this collection when it came out, I was not willing to spend £40+ like some people were trying to charge. It's a very nice light lilac colour, makes you look very tanned aswell. It's a matte lipstick but again, goes on quite creamy.
If you hunt this lipstick down, I suggest you buy it while you can.

Urban Decay Perversion Mascara and Seventeen Stay Time Concealer

This mascara is one of the best mascara's I've ever tried. It's lasted me just over two months aswell. I just love it. Stay Time concealer blah blah best concealer ever blah blah, you know how much I rave about it.
Perversion mascara is available from here and the concealer is available from here.

Bed Head by TIGI Colour Goddess Shampoo and Conditioner Set

I can't quite express my love for this shampoo and conditioner, I've never been able to find a drugstore colour care shampoo that doesn't do the exact opposite. The conditioner makes my hair feel so so soft, I love using the set together. The bottles are 750ml so they'll last ages.
 IT SMELLS LIKE TOFFEE TOO.

RRP: £22.99 and can be bought here

Let me know what your favourites of January were! :)

That's all for now,
Rachel. xo

Waddup, you guys?
So I really actually enjoyed April, it was a good month so here goes nothing I suppose.

Songs I've been loving this month:
Dancing with The Devil - Krewella.
Kiss Me Last - We The Kings.
A Part Of Me - Neck Deep.
Every Cheetah Girls song (yes I know hahaha) and I've been loving a whole lot of Jonas Brother and High School Musical (yes really.)

Movies I've been loving this month:
Dogma, Pan's Labyrinth, Fight Club, Dumb and Dumber, This Is The End and As Good as It Gets. Not an awful lot of movies this month, I've been re-watching a lot of old favourites and these are kind of new favourites I suppose.

TV shows I've been loving this month:
So it's basically the exact same TV shows as last month, the IT Crowd and Sex and The City, I have been loving Mad About You aswell (super duper cheesy 80's/90's american sitcom, it's actually super funny). The Big Bang Theory is an old favourite aswell, but I've been watching a lot of that lately. I've also found out that my sister has bought me the Sex and The City complete box set for my birthday this month, yey!

Drinks I've been loving this month:
I've been really loving lemon juice/still lemonade, it's absolutely luuuush and Fanta Ice Zero (cloudy lemonade essentially.)

Food I've been loving this month:
I'm back on the 5:2 diet again so I've been trying to eat pretty low calorie stuff, I've told myself that there is absolutely no way I'm giving up pizza (how pop punk of me hahaha) and if I have to resort to making pizza myself then I totally will, but basically Chicago Town make these pizza subs and in each sub there's just under 300 calories so I have one of them with a side of sweetcorn and some cherry tomatoes and that's been my go-to meal lately, so that's my favourite food right now. And sweetcorn, I love me a bit of sweetcorn.

Beauty products I've been loving this month:
I've been absolutely loving L'Oreal's True Match foundation, the lightest shade matches my skin perfectly and my skin hasn't been so dry so the formula is pretty good for my skin right now. I also love MAC's Candy Yum Yum lipstick and the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge is a godsend.

Life favourites:
There were a couple of birthdays in the house in April, my little sister's and my mum's. My sister turned 13, aw, mum turned 25 for the 22nd time, hahaha. So yeah, that was fun. Had a fun day in Great Yarmouth with my sister, I won a Chewbacca plushie on the grabber and bought a 'wanchor' mug, hahaha.

Am I looking forward to anything this month?
Yes yes yes, it's my birthday on the 23rd and I'm going to Pizza Express with the family and Abbie (yey italian foooood!) and then on the 25th I'm going to Hatfield (like 2 hours away from Norwich) to go to Slam Dunk Festival and I'm seeing We The Kings and State Champs and Neck Deep and Gnarwolves and We Are The In Crowd and omg I'm just so excited.

I hope you all had a great month! :-)

That's all for now,
Rachel. xo

Hey guys!

So basically I've been world's worst blogger lately, I've been blogging maybe 5 times a month and that just isn't acceptable. I've been so unorganised as of late, so any organisational tips would be brill! I had a pretty okay month in March I suppose, still no luck on the job front though, went for an interview and the next day they told me they didn't want to hire me, so that sucked. And last night I discovered that favourite YouTubers Charles and Alli Trippy (CTFxC) have separated, that was strange. I've been watching their videos every day for 4 years and I haven't missed a video (they hold the world record for most consecutive daily vlogs) and it's just sad. I feel like they've always been there when I needed a smile on my face and now that's kind of all over, so I've been on and off crying and watching their videos, haha.
On a lighter note, here's my March favourites!

Songs I've been loving this month:
Oh Bo & Art is Dead - Bo Burnham.
Sad Song, I Feel Alive & Just Keep Breathing - We The Kings.
Broken Crown - Mumford & Sons.
Take It Away - The Used.
Cry - The Used.
Jude Law and a Semester Abroad - Brand New.

Movies I've been loving this month:
Sex and The City: The Movie 1 & 2.
V/H/S.
Hostel 1, 2 & 3.
Clerks II.
The Exorcist.
What. (Bo Burnham's latest stand-up show)
Cabin Fever 2.

TV Shows I've been loving this month:
I've been absolutely loving The IT Crowd, Richard Ayoade is absolutely fall of your chair, crying on the floor hilarious and I've also been loving Sex and The City, I've only watched about 6 episodes but I love it and I'm absolutely begging for the box set for my birthday in May, hahaha.

Drinks I've been loving this month:
Juiceburst's Blood Orange Juice (it's a mixture of carrot juice and blood orange juice, mm) and Capri Sun.

Food I've been loving this month:
Daim pieces and Ristorante mozarella pizza, yum.

Make up products I've been loving this month:
Rimmel lipstick in 'Oxford St. Fuschia', Sleek contour palette and Collection eyebrow definer pencil in 'black'.

Life favourites:
Is it bad if I say nothing? Like seriously, nothing exciting happened in March at all. I spent 99% of my time indoors either watching movies or job hunting, hahaha.

Am I looking forward to anything next month?
Well, since that implies April, which we're already into (as I decided to write this blog post almost half way into April, ok not really but whatever), there's a few birthdays in my household this month, it's my little sister's birthday on April 20th and she's turning 13, aw, and it's my mum's birthday on April 29th so that'll be nice.
May is full of exciting things though, woo!

I hope you're all doing great! And hopefully, if my motivation isn't at 2% like it has been lately, I should be definitely writing more posts. :-)

That's all for now,
Rachel. xo

Hello you lovely people,
Well this month, my blogging schedule completely went out the window. I ended up doing one post a week, hahah, oops. March will be better, I promise!

Songs I've been loving this month:
What Did You Expect? - Neck Deep.
Leave Before The Lights Come On - Arctic Monkeys.
R U Mine? - Arctic Monkeys.
Falling - Haim.
Engine 45 - The Ghost Inside.
You & I - Bury Tomorrow.

Movies I've been loving this month:
Wreck-It Ralph, The Great Gatsby, Shutter Island, Movie 43 and Maniac.
I really didn't watch many movies this month as I was very much into watching TV shows on Netflix, haha.

TV Shows I've been loving this month:
Extreme Couponing (got through 3 seasons of that in 2 days) and The Office (US) I watched all seasons in 5 days, I feel like a part of me is empty now, hahaha, I fell in love with Jim and Pam's relationship, aw.

Drinks I've been loving this month:
Dandelion and Burdock and Caffeine Free Diet Coke, mm.

Food I've been loving this month:
Lemon Mousse's from Morrisons, they're perfect.

Make Up items I've been loving this month:
Maybelline 24hr Colour Tattoo's (see review here), Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick in '110' and '107' and finally, NYC's Expert Last Lipstick in 'Blue Rose'.

Life Favourites:
Well this month, me and Abbie organised to go to Slam Dunk Festival in May with her and her boyfriend, wooo third wheeling! No but it's going to be great. :3 (It's going to be so nerve-racking, but I know I can do it. I went last year, had a few panic attacks but I still had a great time.) I also got invited to go to two job interviews in March, one on the 4th March and another on the 7th and they're both for apprenticeships within adminstration with the NHS.

Am I looking forward to anything next month?
Well, if I get offered a job, then starting my new job, if not I'll be looking forward to sitting at home, watching Netflix and job hunting, woo!

I hope you all had a great February, let me know if anything exciting happened in February or if you're doing anything fun in March. :3

That's all for now,
Rachel. xo

Hey guys!
So it's safe to say this month has been pretty bad in the way of blogging. I've really not been motivated enough to post anything really, but it's that time of the month where I need to do a favourites post so here we go!

Songs I've been loving this month:
Of Mice & Men's new album came out a few days ago *squeal*, so I've been loving every song off that. You go pick that up on iTunes if you wish, 'Restoring Force' by Of Mice & Men ;o
I've been really loving Killswitch Engage this month also, so anything by them. (I'm listening to them now, as I type this.)
White Lies - Man Overboard.
Montrose - Man Overboard.
Frick Park Market - Mac Miller.
Dark Horse - Katy Perry.
Donatella - Lady Gaga.

Movies I've been loving this month:
Considering I've been doing practically nothing this month, I've watched hardly any movies this month which is disappointing, I've basically just been trying to watch the movies that are in my DVD collection that I haven't gotten round to watching yet.
American Psycho, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, Tangled, Aladdin, Superbad, American Pie 1 & 2, Carrie (2013).
I've pretty much been loving the same movies as last month but hey ho!

TV shows I've been loving this month:
Sherlock (DID YOU SEE THAT CLIFFHANGER??? OMG), RuPaul's Drag Race (Finished all 5 seasons in a week, wut) Oddities: San Francisco and Criminal Minds - love me some crime shows.

Video games I've been loving this month:
For the first half of January, Grand Theft Auto V controlled my life and now I've been stuck with a load of missions that I've rage quit on so I'm like 40% into the game and I've just kind of stopped playing it, oops. I literally haven't played any video games this month besides GTA, um oops.

Drinks I've been loving this month:
Shapers Sparkling Pink Grapfruit Juice (Boots own low calorie drinks, mm) and sparkling mango juice. I'm all about the juice this month.

Food I've been loving this month:
Gregg's sandwiches in general and Gregg's belgian buns, mm mm mm. Bless my mother for working there and getting a ridiculously good discount.

Make up items I've been loving this month:
Sleek I-Divine palette in 'Vintage Romance' and I don't care if this doesn't class as make up but the Real Techniques Core Collection, them brushes doe.

Life favourites:
Honestly? Nothing much. This month has been absolutely crap in the way of my mental health and my wellbeing in general. I actually thought 2014 would be a tad bit better and at the moment it's treated my awfully so, that's fun! One life favourite though is my friendship with Abbie, she's brilliant. She said to me after reading my new year's resolutions post that she would try to help me get out the house more and do stuff this year, and she's put up with me really well so far, I'm very grateful for her existence and it's people like her that brings back my faith in humanity. So Abbie, if you're reading this, I love you dearly and you're the best okay, you biaatch. ;o

Am I looking forward to anything next month?
I haven't got anything planned, no. I'd like to hope that next month I may have a job but hahaha that's not looking to great at the moment but oh well, I'm trying!

I hope you've all had a great January and 2014 is treating you well! I'd love to hear what you've been up to this month.

That's all for now,
Rachel. xo

Hey guys!
So this post is going to be my current beauty favourites. I feel like when I do my monthly favourites, I don't really mention many beauty products. I suppose this could also be interpreted as a 'what's in my make up bag' since these are the things I use pretty much everyday. I actually got to use my DSLR this time round so yey for high quality pictures!

MAC Lipstick in 'Candy Yum Yum'
I absolutely adore this lipstick! It's pretty hard to wear sometimes though. It's such a vibrant pink, practically neon, my dad reckons it would be 'Cyndi Lauper's lipstick of choice', he reckons I look very 80's wearing it, hahaha.

W7 Brow Bar
This is my favourite eyebrow kit, the kit itself is so versatile, all of the shades work perfectly as eyeshadows aswell as brow powders. I use the dark dark brown one now that my hair is black. It comes with a little brush but I threw that away because I didn't like it. The powder stays on your eyebrows all day with or without eyebrow gel.

Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm
This is maybe the best lip balm I've ever tried, even beats Carmex (sorry Carmex!), it's very minty and you can feel it when it's moisturising your lips as it tingles, haha. I'll never use another lip balm again.

MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Laquer in 'Kooky'
The MUA Luxe Lip Laquers could be considered an exact dupe for the Lime Crime Velvetines, similar pigmentation and very similar shades. Kooky is a dark purple shade, pretty wearable if you want a lipstick that's a bit 'out there', very dark though and extremely matte, so matte that you can just feel the skin on your lips starting to flake, so I usually pair this with my Collection Little Mix lipstick in 'Perrie' and it goes perfectly and stops my lips from cracking.

Seventeen Phwoarrr Paint Concealer
My favourite concealer ever, perfect for under the eyes and because it is a thick, heavy duty cream concealer (similar to that of MAC Studio Finish concealer), it hides blemishes super well, I've done a full review on this product here.

Seventeen Miracle Matte Loose Powder
I have very dry skin as it is so rarely use powder, but if I ever do choose to wear powder, I will always go for this one. I don't know what it is about it, it applies so seamlessly and it doesn't look powdery on the skin.

Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation in 'Light Porcelain'
I absolutely adore this foundation, it is a radient foundation so not one for the oily skinned. I love it purely because most drug store brands will have their lightest shade which is usually 'Ivory' and it's always just too dark for me still (I have like Snow White pale skin, it's ridiculous) but this is a shade lighter than Ivory and it matches perfectly (get the pun?)

Nivea Daily Essentials Rich Moisturising Day Cream for Dry & Sensitive Skin
This is the moisturiser I wear underneath make up, so I need a fairly light moisturiser and this does the job perfectly, it definitely does a good job of keeping my face moisturised for a fair few hours, if I'm not wearing make up, I'll usually opt for a night cream all over my face (yes, that's how dry my skin is). I also did a review of this too (here)

Real Techniques Core Collection
I absolutely love every brush in the collection but these two brushes stood out the most for me (left - contour brush. right - buffing brush.) The contour brush gets right into the hollows of the cheekbones to create a precise line and is perfect for blending, I also use this for blusher and highlighter and sometimes my powder too if I'm feeling lazy. The buffing brush creates the look of pretty much flawless looking skin and applies liquid foundation especially well, it's so easy to blend with and it's an all round great brush!

Sleek I-Divine Vintage Romance Palette
This is such a perfect palette, you can create really natural looks with it and also dark, smokey looks, it's a pretty versatile palette although it does only have one matte shade (top far right copper shade), but never the less, I've been at least two shades on my eyes every day. See my full review of this palette here.

Simple Spotless Skin Quick Fix Cleansing Wipes
Yes, yes I know. 'Rachel, using facial wipes is bad for your skin, ermahgerd that's so lazy you don't even properly cleanse your face ew gross ermahgerd'. I like using cleansing wipes to get the base of my make up off so foundation, concealer and eye make up, I'll then go in with a proper cleanser and get all the remaining muck off my face. Plus, I've noticed a difference in my skin when using this, it really is helping with vanishing and preventing spots, these wipes are great!

Well, I hope you enjoyed that and please, embrace the high quality pictures, hahaha.
Tell me below what your current beauty favourites are!

That's all for now,
Rachel. xo

Hey guys!
Since I'm going to Essexland at the end of this month and spending time with my friend Joe for a few days, I thought I'd get my favourites out of the way now so that I'm not panicking about having to get it done next month, hahaha.

Am I looking forward to next month?
I am actually, I've been invited to attend a 2-day course run by Mind, it's a 2-day Mental Health First Aid Course and I'm really excited. (Knowing me I'll back out of it at the last minute due to anxiety *sigh*)

How have your Christmas'/whatever it is you celebrate has been? :-) I'd love to hear about it!

That's all for now,
Rachel. xo

Part of Your World - The Little Mermaid.

Movies I've been loving this month:
I honestly haven't watched that many movies this month. :-(
Horror: Maniac, Twixt and The Unborn. (I'm also seeing Carrie on Sunday with mum so I'm sure that will be in my December favourites, eek.)
Comedy: A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas, How The Grinch Stole Christmas and Clueless.
Drama: Mysterious Skin, Irvine Welsh's Ecstasy, 5o First Dates (I really don't consider this a comedy, it's actually really sad.)
Sci-Fi & Fantasy: Thor & Thor 2, Daybreakers. (This next one may be controversial but I'm going to put it in here anyway.) Doctor Who: Day of the Doctor. It was awfully movie like and I absolutely adored it okay.

TV shows I've been loving this month:
Whacked out the Jackass: Complete Collection box set this month, watched all 3 seasons of the show over and over and I've also been loving Wildboyz (Jackass spin-off featuring Steve-O and Chris Pontius.) And obviously the Doctor Who: Day of the Doctor episode.

I really haven't been loving a lot of skincare products lately, probably just my Nivea Daily Essentials Rich Moisturising Day Cream for Dry Skin.

Life favourites:
Nothing particularly thrilling has happened this month. My mental health has been the worst it's been for a while. Ugh. :-(

Am I looking forward to next month?
YES. CHRISTMAS AND I GET TO SEE JOEJOE IN ESSEX FOR NEW YEARS. That means lots and lots of drinking and I'm extremely okay with that, haha!

1. GREED: What is your most inexpensive beauty item? What is your most expensive item?
My most inexpensive beauty item is probably this gorgeous pink lipstick I bought from Savers for 75p. It's unbranded but it's so pigmented and moisturising. My most expensive is probably my Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation. (I'm not usually one for splashing out on high end beauty products)

2. WRATH: What beauty products do you have a love/hate relationship with?
I'd actually go with the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer, oooh controversial. Well when I have a break out, I find that that concealer just doesn't do that and kind of makes my spots really hurt. I might have an allergic reaction, I don't know. But other times, I absolutely adore that c0ncealer.

3. GLUTTONY: What are your most delicious beauty products?
My most delicious beauty products? Well, I'm going to assume that means scents and I'm gonna go with my Sugar Crush body wash and Sugar Crush body scrub. I'll just repurchase and repurchase them products. If Soap & Glory ever discontinue them I may just cry. Also, I really like the scent of my Bourjois Healthy Mix Gel Foundation, it just doesn't smell like normal foundations. It's so nice.

4. SLOTH: What beauty product do you neglect due to laziness?
So, I'm actually going to say eyeliner. It's rare that I wear eyeliner anyway, it's just not a part of my daily make up routine but even when I do want to wear eyeliner I just go 'lol naaaah'. From the ages of 12-14 eyeliner is all I wore (but that could be due to my baby goth phase hahaha.)

5. PRIDE: What beauty product gives you the most self confidence?
I'd probably say my Phwoarr Paint concealer by Seventeen, it just hides everything, hahah. Also, my Falsies mascara by Maybelline, one of the only things I genuinely like about myself are my eyes and eyelashes (I have super long eyelashes) so loads of mascara just makes me feel confident.

6. LUST: What attributes do you find most attractive about the opposite sex?
Eyes, hair and personality.

7. ENVY: What items would you most like to receive as a gift?
I'd say, either the Soap & Glory Loved & Glossed gift set or the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette. These are two things that have been on my list of things to buy for so long but I just never have the money. :-(

I hope you enjoyed that tag! I tag all of you reading this right now.
I had super bad writer's block today also, I didn't have access to a camera so was unable to do a review. :-(

That's all for now,
Rachel. xo

So this is a new segment of my blog I've decided to do. I'm extremely passionate about music so I thought it fitted nicely. I'll list 10 songs I've been loving this month. Okay, go!

1. The Wonder Years - Local Man Ruins Everything.
I went to Slam Dunk in May this year and this is one the bests I regret not seeing whilst I was there, they're incredible.

2. The Cheetah Girls - Strut.
Okay so, The Cheetah Girls are my not so secret guilty pleasure. I just adore the cheesiness of the movies and their songs are so filled with energy.

3. This Wild Life - Pink Tie.
These boys actually followed me on Twitter a few months back and I've been obsessed ever since.

4. Katy Perry - Unconditionally.
I'm known to have a very eclectic music taste, but Katy Perry is one of the only 'mainstream' artists I listen to that I actually love with a passion.

5. Agnetha Faltskog - I Should Have Followed You Home.
Okay, admittedly the video is bloody awful and the remix isn't too great either but after watching Agnetha & Gary's performance on Children In Need Rocks 2013, I've fallen in love with this song.

6. One Direction - Story of My Life.
Yes, I know. I used to despise One Direction. The songs off their new album are great though! I also adore the video, reminds me of my GCSE photography lessons, pissing about in the darkroom all lesson not getting any work done, haha!

7. Man Overboard - Fantasy Girl.
Well, Man Overboard are my favourite band (next to Of Mice & Men and We Came as Romans), I saw them at Slam Dunk this year and spent £55 on their merch, eh, it was birthday money okay. I then met them (oh my gosh!) at the Keep A Breast signing tent. I was practically a flailing mess on the floor. But Zac and Nik (two lead singers) said I was 'awesome' for spending so much on their merch and they said that if I had my own merch that they'd definitely buy it, how sweet.

8. Anita Blay - Doing It Wrong.
I've been a huge fan of Some Girls ever since the first series and I've been madly in love with the theme song for aaaages but I finally found it on YouTube and yey!

9. Of Mice & Men - O.G. Loko.
Don't even get me started on Of Mice & Men. They've been my favourite band for nearly 3 years now. This is my favourite OM&M song of all time. I just, ugh.
I saw them live last October and I got to the barrier and I was so thrilled and it's definitely the best night of my life so far.

10. We Came As Romans - Fade Away.
Pretty much same story as the Of Mice & Men one. Been a fan for nearly 3 years, saw them live February 2012 and I got to the barrier for that aswell and Kyle (clean vocalist) came and stood in front of me and I was like 'I LOVE YOU KYLE', not aware that his mic was turned on and he went 'oh you're such a tease' AND WINKED AT ME.

Okay so I'm aware this whole post has made me sound like the worst fangirl, I promise I'm not... Much. :')

Hi guys!
So this is another wishlist but first I'd like to do a quick life update section. So it's currently 1:38am here and I'm not able to sleep. Admittedly I haven't been able to get to sleep 'til about 6:30am, it's ridiculous. Like my brain is just filled with worry and anxiety constantly. I actually want to sleep and my eyes want to close but my brain's like 'lol no'. This has been going on for maybe 5 nights in a row now, my mum's put it down to my anxiety so I'm not sure how I feel about that. I went to Boots today and me and mum bought some natural sleeping tablets that claim they take effect within 30 minutes. Well, I took the tablet at 10pm and here I am, awake at 1:44am. I highly doubt I'll be in college tomorrow either which sucks because I was off last week and my attendance is just constantly going down and ugh. ANYWAY, wishlist time!

This isn't even going to be specific wishlist, it's going to have a bit of everything in there ok.

Hi!
I've realised that if I leave any more time to do this blog post it'll be the new year, so I might aswell get it done as soon as possible. These are just some favourites categories I've thought of on the spot, so here it goes!

Songs I've been loving this month:
Doing It Wrong - Anita Blay (Some Girls theme song, haha)
High Regard - The Story So Far.
Take Me - Major League.
Secret Valentine - We The Kings.
Still Waiting - Sum 41.
Berzerk - Eminem.

Movies I've been loving this month:
So for this section, I'm going to put them in categories as I watched so many good movies in October.
Horror: Psycho, Carrie, Human Centipede 2, Silent Hill: Revelation and Bride Of Chucky (I would quite happily say that the Child's Play/Chucky films are some of my favourites in general.)
Comedy: The Campaign, Pitch Perfect, Not Another Teen Movie (as a lover of cheesy 90's teen movies, this is one of my favourites in general aswell) and The Breakfast Club.
Drama: Trainspotting, This Is England and Cyberbully (I honestly don't think I've cried more at a film than I did because of Cyberbully.)
Sci-Fi & Fantasy: (The first two choices are debatable as to whether they're really sci-fi or fantasy but because they're superhero movies, they're going in here ok.) Kick-Ass and Kick-Ass 2. Avengers Assemble, Star Wars: Return of The Jedi.

TV shows I've been loving this month:
Cake Boss and Cake Boss only. Last week was half term and I got through 3 and a half seasons of that beauty of a TV show. I don't know why I got so addicted, I just did.
Alright, I watched the whole second series of Some Girls aswell. I'm so upset that the second series has finished, I hope they make a third.

Video games I've been loving this month:
New Super Mario Bros - Nintendo DS.
Dead Rising 2 - Xbox 360.
Pokemon Emerald - Game Boy Advance. (Thank god for emulators, hey.)

Drinks I've been loving this month:
Cookie dough flavour Frijj milkshake, Pepsi Max and Pink Lemonade flavour Lucozade.

Food I've been loving this month:
Sweetcorn, hotdog, egg and ham pasta salad (it's delicious, I promise.)

Make up items I've been loving this month: There's not been an awful lot as I haven't had much money to be able to buy new items. Esteé Lauder Double Wear foundation, Rimmel Match Perfection foundation (I actually have to mix both of those foundations together to get a perfect shade. Long story short, woman at House of Fraser matched Double Wear a shade too dark for my skin but luckily I had my Rimmel Match Perfection lying around the house in a shade that was one lighter than my skin tone, lucky 'ey?) Great Lash Mascara by Maybelline, Undress Me Too Palette by MUA and MUA One Direction lipstick in the shade I Want.

Skincare products I've been loving this month: Not sure if you can count some of these as skin care but I'm going to anyway - Candy Swirl body scrub by Baylis & Harding, Flake Away by Soap and Glory and Garnier Moisture Match Goodbye Dry, Garnier Soft and Complete Cleansing Wipes.

Life favourites: Well I can't really say anything interesting has happened in October besides finding out I may be going down to Essex for a few days to visit my best friend, Joe for New Years.

Am I looking forward to next month? I don't know, depends if anything decent is happening in November, haha!

So that's been mine October favourites, I really hoped you enjoyed reading it and I might make a habit of it (yey!)

So that's all for now,
Rachel xo
