Hey guys!
So I'm a bit late on the bandwagon but oh well! If you saw my Superdrug haul the other day, you'll know that I purchased a couple of the Maybelline Colour Tattoo's. And might I just say, I absolutely freakin' love them. I bought them in the shades (left) On & On Bronze and (right) Eternal Gold. They retail for £4.99 each.

What Maybelline claims:
"Ink technology creates 24HR wear shadow for our most intense, long-lasting colour saturation. Cream formula glides on without creasing and keep colour vibrant. Ophthalmologist-tested, safe for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers."

What I think:
I'm beyond impressed with this product. I love the packaging, although not travel friendly as the product is in a glass pot and they're pretty heavy, the glass pot makes the product look a lot more expensive than it is.
Maybelline were certainly right when they said "most intense, long-lasting colour saturation", I've never owned an eyeshadow that lasts as long as this eyeshadow, for example, I forgot to take my make up off the other night and I slept with the eyeshadow on, and when I woke up, it looked the exact same it did when I went to sleep. These eyeshadows definitely live up to the 24 hour name.

The colours are absolutely gorgeous and they're sooo pigmented, as they're cream eyeshadows, they glide onto your lids so smoothly. Eternal Gold is a gorgeous glittery pale-yellow gold and On & Bronze is a dark shimmery gold/brown colour.

And there's the swatches!

I'm so impressed with these eyeshadows, I will definitely be purchasing more and well done to Maybelline for making one my favourite products of the year so far. For £4.99 per eyeshadow, you can't go wrong. You can purchase these at Boots (link) or Superdrug (link)

Let me know if you've tried any of the Colour Tattoos and tell me what you think of them.

That's all for now,
Rachel. xo

Hey guys!
So a couple of weeks ago I signed up to Sun+ as they were having a sign up offer of, pay £1 to sign up and we'll send you a £20 Superdrug voucher, so that's exactly what I did. The voucher arrived this morning so I went into town and spent it (obviously.) A couple of days ago I went onto the Superdrug website and total'd up every I wanted to get with the £20, and I got a fair bit considering it's Superdrug.

Superdrug's Own Brand Face Masks - 99p each or 4 for 3.
I bought these because I had £3 left over and didn't know what to spend it on. I like to do a face mask every 1-2 weeks and I have a few more Montagne Jeunesse face masks so I'm pretty stocked up now. Superdrug's face masks have always served me well in the past so not bad for £3.

Maybelline Great Lash Mascara - £4.99 / 3 for 2 on all Maybelline.
I absolutely love this mascara, may be an unpopular opinion but I like the natural bristles and it doesn't really clump up my lashes too much, I usually have this and 'fancier' mascara in my make up bag at all times.

Maybelline Color Tattoos in 'Eternal Gold' and 'On & On Bronze' - £4.99 each / 3 for 2 Maybelline
Bit late on the Color Tattoo hype but oh well. I've been meaning to try these for ages and I swatched them both on the way back from town and the colours are gorgeous, 2 hours later and they haven't rubbed off my hand, I may decide to review these if I like them.

MUA Blusher in 'Marshmallow' - £1.
I adore MUA blushes, I'm not usually a blush sort of person but the MUA ones are just so cheap yet really pigmented. One thing I do hate about the MUA blushes is the crappy colour range. There's only like 4 colours and then 4 cream blushes (I hate cream blushes, wah.)

MUA Nail Polish in 'Bright Pink' - £1.
I don't really like nail polishes purely because I have extremely short, practically non-existent nails, so when I do put nail polish on them, it looks like a 2 year old's done it. :-( The colour of this nail polish looks gorgeous though and the packaging looks extremely similar to Essie, naughty MUA.

MUA Bronzer in 'Shade 2' - £1.
I've never tried an MUA Bronzer before, but this is the perfect contour shade for a pasty pale person like myself, the bronzer is matte so no ridiculous shimmery looking contour, can't wait to try it.

MUA Intense Colour Eyeliner in 'Snow White' - £1.
MUA's eyeliners so are pigmented and creamy, they're my go to for white eyeliners (when they have them in stock though. -.-) I love using a white eyeliner on my water line to open my eyes and make them appear larger. It can look a bit creepy sometimes though, hahaha.

NYC Expert Last Lipstick in 'Blue Rose' - £1.99.
So in the picture, the lipstick looks red, I can assure you that into's an extremely blue toned bright pink, it's absolutely gorgeous. I love NYC's lipstick, they're cheap, pigmented and they last ages!

Superdrug Spirit Necklace. - Reduced from £8 to £1.
I   I can't say I look at the jewellery section much when I go in there, but I spotted this for £1 and just had to have it, plus it was reduced from £8 to £1, so how can you go wrong?

I hope you enjoyed this haul!
Let me know if you've bought anything from Superdrug recently.
That's all for now,

Hi guys!
So as of late I haven't been in the best of moods so I decided, why not spend the small amount of money I've been saving for a few weeks and that's exactly what I did! Some of this stuff is definitely of an acquired taste and won't be everybody's cup of tea, but these are the types of things I like so, whatever.

1. Arctic Monkeys Tie Dye T-Shirt (link): £9.99 w/£1.99 shipping.
No, it's not an officially licensed Arctic Monkeys shirt, but I'd just been liking them so much lately and when I saw this on the 'tie dye t-shirt' search page on eBay I just had to grab it. It comes in many other colours aswell.

2. Pikachu Happy Face T-Shirt (link): £9.69 w/£2.95 shipping.
I saw this shirt and just fell in love, I was searching for logo/movie t-shirts and this one popped up and ugh JUST LOOK AT HIS LITTLE FACE. Adorable.

3. Doctor Who "University of Gallifrey: Time Lord Academy" T-Shirt (link): £9.99 w/£2 shipping.
Well, there's not much I can say about it besides LOOK HOW COOL IT IS?! I'm obsessed with Doctor Who, and I wish I would have find this last Summer before I went to the Doctor Who Experience in Cardiff.

4. Disney Princess Silly Face iPhone 4/4S Case (link): £3.99.
Unfortunately I had bought the last phone case on that listing but I have linked one closest to the price of the one I have ordered, the one linked is £5.98 w/£0.98 shipping.
Well, Disney Princesses are my favourite things ever. Disney all together is my favourite thing ever, I've been eyeing up this phone case for aaages but I couldn't bring myself to do it because I have a phone case addiction basically, haha, but I did it!

5. In The Buff Palette by W7 Make Up (link): £6.48.
So, it seems like since Christmas, every British beauty blogger has been raving about this palette and about how it's a better dupe for one of the Naked palettes than the MUA palettes are, so I went into town yesterday looking in every shop that I know sells W7 products, and there was no In The Buff Palette to be seen, I looked on normal beauty sites and it was sold out on every site, so I just went ahead and spent a couple of pounds more for one from eBay, I'm so desperate to try it, hahah.

EDIT:
Oh my gosh, I completely forgotten to mention my new 'smart' shoes. I've been after some new shoes that I can wear to a potential job or job interview and wanted them to have a bit of my general fashion sense about them, kind of edgy (god I hate that word) and grungy (hate that word too. I'm cringing so hard right now.)

Different Class Patent Shoes by Schuh (link): Reduced from £40 to £9.99.
As they are reduced, I'm not sure if they're reducing them to clear or if once all the sizes go out of stock, they'll put them back up to £40, but I absolutely adore them. I like how they have the look of creepers and loafers rolled into one.

I've been so MIA lately and I apologise for that, I promise I will do at least 3 blog posts this week, and if I don't then feel free to tweet me and have a go at me, haha! (My twitters are @anxiouschapter and @racheloverboard by the way ;o)

That's all for now,
Rachel. xo

Hi guys!

So I was scouting around Primark for a new bag, I've been looking for a sort of businessy type of bag, that I could use for a potential job and job interview since I've been applying for loads of apprenticeships lately.

I spotted this bad boy in the corner of the Kings Lynn store and my face just lit up, I called my mum over and I was like 'IT LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE THAT ZARA BAG I SHOWED YOU THE OTHER DAY JNWFSNDJNS' so I bought it.

It's the perfect size, it's a little bit smaller than the Zara Office City Bag, but that's good, that bag seems like a bit of a monster to lug around with you all the time. Primark, bless them, they tried really hard to recreate the look of the Saffiano leather which is what the exterior of the Zara bag is made of, but it definitely looks nice nevertheless.

The bag itself is a bit less structured compared to the Zara bag, which I quite like as it stretches more so you can shove more things in it, haha. The two outer zip compartments are not padded like the Zara bag, but can still definitely be used to keep your iPad in there as the lining inside is a thick material, but not quite padded. You couldn't keep a full sized laptop in the zip compartments, maybe a netbook but not a laptop, you can definitely fit a 13-15inch laptop in the main compartment though.

Inside the bag, is a small zip compartment, where you could keep loose change or receipts and on the other side is a phone pocket (I did not picture that well at all, haha) I always keep my phone on me when I'm out and about anyway so to me, a phone pocket is useless.

The inside lining is a dark grey speckled cloth type material, which is the only way I can describe it, haha.

The bag also comes with a long, completely adjustable shoulder strap which you can easily unclip from the sides and keep in the bag for easy access. One thing I would like to point out about the handles on this bag... So squeaky. And I'm not even sure why, I'm sure that won't be much of a problem once I've used the bag a bit more, but every one of this style of bag that I tried in the shop, they all had squeaky handles, and it was doing my head in, haha!
The handles on the front and back of the bag are quite short, so you might not even be able to hold the bag on the crook of your arm, the handles are the perfect length to hold in your hand though. (Although it can make you look like you're going to work as a lawyer, but hey ho!)

I most definitely adore this bag and the only bad thing I can say about it is the squeaky handles, haha! For a meer £12, you cannot go wrong. And for £12, it's easily replaceable if something does ever go wrong with it.
Well done, Primark! You've made one heck of a dupe here.

Tell me if you've bought this bag in Primark recently, and tell me what you think of it. :-)
That's all for now,
Rachel. xo
